Toolivoo (toolivoo.com) provides free online tools for PDF, image, QR code and text tasks. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the site. In short: the tools run inside your browser, your files are never uploaded to us, and we do not ask you to create an account.
Who we are
Toolivoo is an independent website. Our website address is https://toolivoo.com. You can reach us at contact@toolivoo.com.
The files and text you use in our tools
Every Toolivoo tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you compress a PDF, convert or resize an image, generate a QR code, compare two texts, count words, pick a colour or encode a URL:
- Your file or text is processed on your own device.
- Nothing you put into a tool is uploaded to our server.
- We never see, store or have access to the content you work with.
- When you close or reload the page, that content is gone.
The result you download is created on your device as well. We keep no copy of it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how many people visit the site and which tools they use. with Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are only measured if they accept analytics in our cookie banner. When analytics is on, it places cookies in your browser and records:
- the pages you visit and how long you stay;
- your approximate location (country or city level), device type and browser;
- how you arrived, for example from a search engine or a link;
- when a tool is used successfully, along with technical details such as the input and output format and the approximate file size in kilobytes.
These measurements never include the contents of your files or text, or their file names. Google processes this data on our behalf; see Google’s privacy policy.You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, or opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The tools work normally either way.
Cookies
Toolivoo sets no cookies of its own for visitors. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are not tracked unless they accept. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie), and you can change it any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. The only cookies come from Google Analytics, as described above, and are used to tell repeat visits apart. If you leave a comment or fill in our contact form, WordPress may store a cookie so the form does not have to be filled in again.
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact page, the name, email address and message you type are sent to our email inbox and stored in the website’s database so we can reply and keep track of the conversation. We use this information only to answer you. We do not add it to a mailing list or share it with anyone. Ask us at any time and we will delete it.
Services that deliver the site
- Hostinger hosts the website. Their servers keep standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
- Google Fonts supplies the Inter typeface used across the site.
- cdnjs and jsDelivr supply the open-source libraries that make some tools work in your browser, such as pdf-lib, pdf.js, jsPDF and the QR code library.
When your browser fetches a font or a library, that provider receives your IP address and browser details, as happens with any file a web page loads. They receive nothing about the files you are working with.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos or images from other sites. Embedded content from another website behaves exactly as if you had visited that website, which may collect data about you, use cookies and monitor your interaction with it.
How long we keep data
- Files and text in the tools: not kept at all; they never leave your device.
- Analytics: retained by Google for up to 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Contact messages: kept while we need them to answer you, and deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@toolivoo.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Toolivoo is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted here.
